As Volunteer Manager, Karen certifies and mentors new therapy teams. She brings her experience as a director for web application projects, a veterinary technician, a dog trainer, and a volunteer with local rescues as well as having raised service dog prospects. Her extensive knowledge and caring manner, combined with strong detail-oriented and communication skills makes her a perfect fit for ensuring successful volunteer onboarding and engagement. Karen has been certified for therapy work with six different pets over the years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and now doing therapy visits with her Golden Retriever, Bella.
